Starting. The graph may be cleared or funds may be added at any time. Select a fund group from the "Select Fund Group" box. A list of funds will be presented for individual fund selections. A maximum of eight funds will be displayed in order of performance.

Displaying multiple funds. Double clicking on a fund name will display that fund. If you wish to display more than one fund from a fund group, highlight each of them by clicking once. When you reach the last fund you wish to display, double click on it and all highlighted funds will be displayed up to the limit of eight. If more than eight funds are highlighted, ONLY THE EIGHT WITH THE HIGHEST PERFORMANCE WILL BE DISPLAYED. Funds may be added to the chart from other fund groups in the "Select Fund Group" box. If you return to a fund group and reselect funds, your previous selections in that fund group will no longer be plotted.

Displaying relative performance. When two or more funds are displayed, click on a fund name to the right of the chart to view performance relative to the fund you have selected. This is a useful feature for COMPARISONS WITH INDEX FUNDS.

Logarithmic charts. Rate of growth throughout the time period is most easily observed with a logarithmic chart, which is used here by default. This can be changed with the "Change Scale" button.

Colors. The color of a fund on the chart is determined by its rank among those being plotted. When new funds are added, the color of previously plotted funds will change.
